A tough loss for the Red Sox in the American League Championship Series ended the season, both for the team, and the groundskeepers who maintain Fenway Park.

This week, as the reality of the season's end sank in, the grounds crew went to work putting Fenway to bed until next year.

At left, Joe Gravell folded a World Series banner that was taken down. The banners hang in the concession area in right field and are put in storage for the winter.
