Albert O'Neil grew up in Roxbury and lived in Roslindale, but he was always a favorite in South Boston, where he is shown campaigning in 1974 for Suffolk County sheriff. O'Neil lost the Democratic primary to Thomas S. Eisenstadt. It was one of two unsuccessful runs for sheriff.
