Greco was wrongfully convicted of a gangland slaying and spent 28 years behind bars before losing a battle to cancer in 1995.

Edward Greco testified recently that he was scowling in the photo because his mother made him comb his hair, but he said he didn't realize until later that those were "the wonder years'' and life would never be as good once his father went to prison.
