Peter Arenstam, a crew member on both the 1957 and 2007 voyages, was so captivated by the Mayflower ll, he decided to recount parts of the experience in this children's book. The book tells the story of the ship through the eyes of a kitten. Felix, a tiny black and white kitten, actually did sail with the crew from England to the United States in 1957, and was even carried by a crew member during the ticker tape parade in New York City. His paw print is listed as one of the signatures of the ship's crew.
