The gravesite of Father Patrick Power in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden continues to draw attention at a level that might surprise the 19th-century preacher.

In 1929, though Power had been dead for six decades, more than 1 million people came to the cemetery after hearing that some who had recently visited his grave had been cured of their ailments or seen improvement.
