haircut
Rakan got the first of many haircuts from Aomar Nait-Talb, a Massachusetts General Hospital employee who speaks Arabic and would visit often to help out. Falah Abbas (left), Rakan's uncle, came with him from Iraq. Originally, the plan was that Rakan would be in the US for six to eight weeks, before being able to go home. As it turned out, Rakan would be here for more than four months.
