Rakan's homecoming
After a long flight, a sudden descent in a darkened plane, and a rush to the safety of the 47th Combat Support Hospital in Mosul, Rakan was back in Iraq. Rakan walked across the room on his crutches, watched by Ronan (left) and Colonel James Polo, commander of the hospital and child psychiatrist.
