Three women killed in Dorchester shooting
Boston police officers responded to a call on Aug. 12 at 9:22 p.m. and found four women shot inside a car at 36 Harlem St. in Dorchester, police said in a statement. Two of the women were pronounced dead at the scene; a third was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on Aug. 13.
Police identified the victims as Genevieve Philip, 22, of Milton, Kristen Lartey, 22, of Hyde Park, and Sharrice Perkins, 22, of Dorchester. A fourth woman was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to her leg that was not considered life-threatening, police said.
