Arnold King (left) has spent 36 years -- two-thirds of his life -- behind bars for killing an aide to former Boston mayor Kevin White. While in prison he has earned two degrees, mentored fellow inmates, and now he seeks to be the first prisoner to have his sentence commuted by Governor Deval Patrick.
