The City Council has selected three of its members to sit on a subcommittee to investigate allegations of misconduct by Board of Adjustment member Robin Rousseau. Mayor Eric Spear, Assistant Mayor Bob Lister, and Councilor Brad Lown will serve on the fact-finding committee. Calls for Rousseau’s removal began following a June meeting of the Board of Adjustment. At that meeting, when The Pearl function hall requested permission for later hours and more music, Rousseau suggested that neighbors who objected to the application should move if they didn’t like it.
