CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The fall foliage hotspot in New Hampshire at the moment is the Lakes Region.
The state’s weekly fall foliage report says the region is at peak color. Lake Winnipesaukee is surrounded by oranges and yellows.
The following drives offer great views: Routes 3, 11 and 28 along the southern part of the region, and routes 25, 109 and 113 along the northern edge. Route 171 from Ossipee to Moultonborough also is recommended.
The Seacoast region also is showing lots of color and will continue to stay that way for at least a few more days. Recommended trips are Route 108 from Newmarket to Dover; Route 88 from Hampton Falls to Exeter; and Route 1A from Seabrook to Portsmouth.
