A month after the Planning Board rejected its proposal to purchase larger quarters on West Otterson Street, the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter has reached an agreement to purchase Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 483 on Quincy Street. The announcement was made shortly after the members of the VFW post voted to sell the building and find smaller, less costly quarters. If the sale goes through, the site will house the soup kitchen, but not the homeless shelter.
