DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — The University of New Hampshire football team has earned a berth in the national playoffs for the ninth straight season.
The Wildcats received one of 10 at-large bids to the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs. The team learned Sunday it will play Wofford College on Dec. 1 in a second-round game, to be played in Spartanburg, S.C.
New Hampshire this year had an 8-3 record, including 6-2 in the Colonial Athletic Association and a share of the conference crown.
Wofford ended the season with an identical record, finishing as co-champion of the Southern Conference.
