WINDHAM, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire woman is recovering after she was struck on Interstate 93 while attending to her car, which had become disabled.
Police said 25-year-old Jessica Kimball was struck about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on northbound I-93 near Windham. Her car was in the breakdown lane. She was in the road when she was struck.
Kimball was taken to Parkland Medical Center in Derry for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The northbound lanes were restricted for about three hours while the accident was investigated.
