HUDSON, N.H. (AP) — Police in Hudson, N.H., say a pedestrian has been hospitalized with serious injuries after he was struck by a station wagon while crossing the street.

Police say 71-year-old Paul Quinter of Hudson was struck at about 5 p.m. Wednesday. He was initially taken to Saint Joseph’s hospital in Nashua but was later transferred to the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass., where police say he was in stable condition Thursday.
