DERRY, N.H. (AP) — Drivers have a new way to monitor traffic conditions in New Hampshire, through their smart phones, tablets and computers.

The state Department of Transportation has started a partnership with TrafficLand, a Virginia-based company that collects and delivers traffic video over the Internet and TV.

The Eagle-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/VHSqp1) the state is sharing video from its roadside network of cameras. There are about 50 of them now, and they are expected to grow.

Motorists can learn about bad weather, see what an accident has done to traffic and weather heavy volume is causing delays. Visitors interested in traffic in the Salem area, for example, can visit TrafficLand.com and follow links to New Hampshire and Salem. They will see traffic in Salem and along I-93 from Londonderry through Salem.
