LONONDERRY, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte is planning to attend a rehearsal of a high school band that’s performing in President Barack Obama’s inaugural parade.

The state will be represented by the Londonderry High School Marching Band and Color Guard in the 2013 Inaugural Parade this month.

The Marching Lancers preformed at the president’s 2009 inauguration and have participated multiple times in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade.

Ayotte is heading to the high school Thursday night to attend the rehearsal in the school cafeteria. She wrote to the Presidential Inaugural Committee in October in support of the school’s application.end of story marker
