CAMPTON, N.H. (AP) — Wanted: candidates for the artist-in-residence program in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.

The White Mountain National Forest and the Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire say the application process is open for the third annual residency, a celebration of the connections between forest, landscape and culture.

The deadline for applications is March 9.

The program offers professional and emerging artists from around the country a chance to pursue their particular art form while being inspired by the surrounding forest. They will be asked to share their work and their artistic process with members of the public.

The program is at least three weeks, between July and September.end of story marker
