LACONIA, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire doctor’s license has been suspended for three years after the state board of medicine reprimanded him for prescribing opiates in a manner inconsistent with state law.

A settlement agreement reached between the board and Dr. Michael Dipre of the Laconia Clinic says he will participate in a program to assess his skills.

The Laconia Daily Sun reports (http://bit.ly/YfP0fh) police told the board that Dipre was giving prescriptions, but not documenting all of them. They also were investigating a woman who was selling prescription medications and was getting prescriptions from Dipre.end of story marker
