CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Gov. Maggie Hassan’s picks to lead the state banking department and the Department of Resources and Economic Development have won the unanimous support of the Executive Council.
The council on Wednesday confirmed Jeff Rose as Commissioner of Resources and Economic Development and Glenn Perlow as Banking Commissioner.
Perlow, currently the deputy commissioner, has been with the banking department for two years and previously worked as a senior assistant attorney general. Rose, a director of public affairs at BAE Systems, previously worked for several Republican members of Congress, including former Sen. Bob Smith, former Rep. John E. Sununu and former Rep. Jeb Bradley.
The Department of Resources and Economic Development consists of four divisions: forest and lands, parks and recreation, travel and tourism and economic development.
