COLUMBIA, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire’s new interconnected trail system for all-terrain vehicles is already eying an expansion.
The new ‘‘Ride the Wilds’’ system connects more than 1,000 miles of trails throughout northern New Hampshire. It opened earlier this summer, and now a new ATV club wants to get in on the act.
The Kilkenny Trail Riders just opened its own trail system in Groveton, Stratford and Columbia.
Harry Brown, president of the North Country OHRV Coalition, says for now, there is no direct link from that system to the ‘‘Ride the Wilds’’ system, but one is expected to be in place in Columbia later this year.
