WMUR-TV reports Mazzaglia appeared in court Monday for a hearing covering such matters as how long it should take the jury to view various locations tied to the case.

Lawyers estimate the trial will take about three weeks. It’s scheduled to start on May 27.

Prosecutors say Mazzaglia strangled Marriott on Oct. 9, 2012, after or during an attempted sexual assault and dumped her body off Peirce Island in Portsmouth.
