Automotive manufacturer closing three N.H. facilities

FARMINGTON, N.H. --An automotive parts manufacturer is closing its three New Hampshire plants, leaving about 150 people without jobs.

Dover City Manager Michael Joyal says he's received word from Collins and Aikman that the two plants in Dover and another in Farmington will soon shut down. He's already talked to state officials, who assured him that the state will work with the employees to help them find new jobs.

Collins and Aikman, which is based in Southfield, Michigan, filed for bankruptcy in 2005. It expects to emerge from bankruptcy early next year.
