Video shows 3 shoplifting, police say

PLAISTOW, N.H. -- Three Haverhill, Mass., residents with two children in tow were caught on tape shoplifting from a department store, police said.

Investigators said the video shows David Laing, 34; his cousin, Felicia Laing, 21; and another 15-year-old cousin stuffing merchandise in their carts at a Kohl's department store in Plaistow and then leaving the store without paying. They had children, ages 2 and 11, with them.

The group fled, but store workers got a vehicle description and plate number and forwarded it to police, who said the group took at least $833 worth of merchandise. David Laing was arraigned yesterday and ordered held on $50,000 bail. Police plan to also charge Felicia Laing and the youth.
