Owner's daughter-in-law charged in business theft
NEWPORT, N.H. --A Langdon woman has been charged with stealing more than $20,000 from her father-in-law's business in Springfield, Vt.
Karen Davis, 32, is accused of stealing the money by making unauthorized purchases and withdrawals from Precision Valley Finishing between September 2006 and February of this year. She was a company receptionist and was in charge of managing the account. She has been fired.
