CONCORD, N.H.—A registered sex offender is back behind bars, charged with sexually assaulting a woman at a coin-operated laundry.
Eric Searles, 45, was arrested Saturday night by Loudon police, who stopped him for several traffic violations, police said.
Police had been looking for him since Jan. 4, when a woman reported Searles followed her from a homeless shelter where both had been staying and raped her at the laundry.
Police say Searles was out on bail from a November sexual assault charge at the time.
He's being held on several charges, including sexual assault, false imprisonment and assault.![]()
