WASHINGTON—Washington is sending New Hampshire more money to help residents pay heating bills.
U.S. Senators Judd Gregg and John Sununu announced that 5.1 million dollars in emergency money for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program will be available to New Hampshire families.
Gregg said the money comes at a critical time, as snow continues to pile up and home heating costs continue to soar. Sununu said the release shows the administration recognizes it's important to help residents facing a harsh winter and working hard to meet the cost of high fuel bills.![]()
