BEDFORD, N.H.—They may not be as fast as speedsters on the field, but police officers will patrol the Super Bowl on New Hampshire-made Segways.
The Glendale, Arizona, police say their officers will patrol walkways, parking lots and exhibition areas around the University of Phoenix Stadium on the self-balancing scooters.
Segway says more than 600 police and security agencies around the world use Segways to patrol everything from urban business districts to parks and airports.
