NASHUA, N.H.—Nashua teachers have a new contract.
Mayor Donnalee Lozeau signed the five-year contract on Wednesday, ending a two-year struggle between the city and the teachers' union.
The teachers and school negotiators reached their tentative agreement last month, hours before teachers were ready to go on strike.
Teachers will get raises, but also will have to pay more of their health care costs.
