LONDONDERRY, N.H.—A New Hampshire family is keeping close watch on the search for a missing Middlebury College student in Vermont, after being in the same situation for the last 37 years.

Anne Schulze of Londonderry has been looking over 37 years of notes from the investigation into the disappearance in 1971 of her sister, also from Middlebury. She said she hopes to find something that might help the family of Middlebury freshman Nicholas Garza, who disappeared in February.

Lynne Schulze was last seen in December 1971 and her family still doesn't know what happened to her.

Garza of Albuquerque, New Mexico, disappeared in February after leaving a friend's dorm.

Anne Schulze says Garza's disappearance brought back memories of countless weekends driving around New England with her father, looking for her missing sister.

Garza's mother, Natalie, has moved to Middlebury to be close to the search for her son. She says Schulze has been a great source of comfort and information for her.
