HILLSBORO, N.H.—Officials say a workman escaped injury on Monday when his front-end loader hit power lines near a hydro plant in Hillsboro.
The incident at the Jackman substation caused a transformer to trip. A pressure relieve valve on it was opened, spraying oil on the ground within the boundaries of the substation.
The incident caused a minor fire, which was quickly extinguished.
