SCOTTDALE, Pa.—A Pennsylvania couple has been indicted on wire fraud charges for allegedly selling counterfeit coupons on eBay to people from a variety of states, including New Hampshire.

Federal prosecutors in Pittsburgh say Glenn and Joanna Schwartz, of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, advertised lots of "unlimited coupons" for $9.95. Prosecutors say they were sold to people in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Oklahoma and New York in June 2003.

The indictment doesn't specify what companies or businesses the coupons were for, but says the Schwartzes knew they were counterfeit and worthless.

The couple is scheduled for arraignment on wire fraud charges on June 10.

Nobody answered several calls to the Schwartz home on Wednesday, when the indictment was announced.
