Former N.H. Rep. Jeb Bradley files to run again for old seat
CONCORD, N.H.—Former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley says national security and supporting American troops will be his top priority if he wins his old seat back in Congress.
The Wolfeboro Republican filed paperwork Wednesday to run for the 1st Congressional District seat he lost in 2006 to Democrat Carol Shea-Porter.
Bradley says since then, a strong sense of buyer's remorse has spread across the state now that they have a Congress that he claims has gone on a spending spree with taxpayer money. But he says what bothers him most is seeing members of Congress disrespecting the men and women in uniform.
Bradley, a former state legislator who served two terms in Washington, will face former health and human services commissioner John Stephen in the GOP primary.![]()
