CONCORD, N.H.—New Hampshire officials are considering changes to the state's list of endangered species.

Officials propose moving the bald eagle, osprey, peregrine falcon, common tern and several other species from endangered to threatened. Other species, including the common nighthawk, aren't doing as well and could be added to the endangered list.

The proposed changes will be discussed at a public hearing Wednesday evening at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department in Concord.

Developments requiring a state permit could be affected by the designations.
