NEW CASTLE, N.H.—Police in New Hampshire Seacoast communities are vowing to continue a crackdown on drunken driving.
Chiefs from several communities met Thursday to say they will work throughout Rockingham County to increase drunken driving patrols and sobriety checkpoints. To that end, they are planning four checkpoints at the same time in Portsmouth.
The officials say the goal is to save lives, not make arrests.
