Former selectman convicted in gambling operation

NASHUA, N.H.—A former Milford, N.H., selectman and Veterans of Foreign War officer has been convicted on gambling charges in connection with video poker machines at the local VFW post.

Doug Bianchi was convicted of leasing five video poker machines at the Harley-Sanford VFW Post that made illegal payouts during an undercover investigation in 2006 and 2007.
