NH youth group and beer distributors reach deal
DOVER, N.H. --A New Hampshire youth group has reached a deal with beer distributors about warning stickers after a run-in at two Dover supermarkets.
New Hampshire Distributors say they won't allow employees to try and stop Dover Youth 2 Youth again and will provide a letter for the group to show anyone who gives them a hard time.
The group agreed to get distributors' input on the look and message of the stickers and tell them when and where they put the stickers up.
Last week, the group put stickers on beer and other alcohol products in supermarkets with the stores' permission. The stickers warned parents that many children take their first drinks of beer from their own home.
Members of the group say three distributors tried to stop them from putting stickers on Anheuser-Busch products and ripped the stickers off.
