Council approves improvements to Cannon Mt

MANCHESTER, N.H.—Improvements are coming to New Hampshire's Cannon Mountain ski area.

The Executive Council approved $1.4 million in improvements that will include work on the snowmaking system, the aerial tramway, a chairlift and two lodges.

The improvements will be financed from a fund fed by lease payments from the other state-owned ski area, Mount Sunapee.
