GOFFSTOWN, N.H.—A former teacher's aide in Goffstown, New Hampshire, has been charged with using a computer to hold sexually explicit online conversations with a student.

Twenty-four-year-old Jennifer Simard is in jail on two counts of prohibited use of computer services. Simard will remain in jail until her arraignment Monday.

She had been an on-call substitute for a teacher's aide in the Goffstown School District. According to court documents, Simard sent the boy online messages of a sexual nature.

She also is accused of talking with the boy, who is under 16, about how he could keep his parents from finding out about them, an indictment handed up by a Hillsborough County grand jury alleges.
