Brinks driver admits to money theft

CONCORD, N.H.—A Brinks Armored car driver has pleaded guilty to being in on stealing two bags of money from his vehicle last summer in Manchester, N.H.

Federal prosecutors say 39-year-old Phoumasay Sihanourath of Lowell, Mass., pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to aiding and abetting the interstate transportation of stolen property.

Prosecutors say the Brinks driver stole two bags of money from his armored car last August and put them in another vehicle at the Mall of New Hampshire. The money was taken to Lowell, where it was divided up.
