DURHAM, N.H.—One of the largest conferences in the country to showcase research by college undergraduates starts Friday at the University of New Hampshire.
About 850 students mentored by more than 230 faculty members are involved in this year's conference, which runs through next week. Research topics range from mitochondrial disease to the origins of etiquette.
Only about 160 student researchers took part in the first undergraduate research conference at UNH in 2000.
