MERRIMACK, N.H.—Authorities in New Hampshire say they've made an arrest in a stabbing that killed a 20-year-old man during a fight at a party in Merrimack.

The state attorney general's office says 23-year-old Corey Furgal of Merrimack faces two counts of second-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Christopher Vydfol of Amherst early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the house where the party was taking place just before 2 a.m. Officials say Vydfol was stabbed in the chest and died after he was taken to an area hospital.

There's no word on what caused the fight. An autopsy on Vydfol is scheduled for Monday morning.

Senior Assistant Attorney General Susan G. Morrell says Furgal doesn't have an attorney yet. His arraignment is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday in Merrimack District Court.
