TROY, N.H.—The American Legion is holding a memorial service for a fallen Marine from Troy, N.H.
Thirty-six-year-old Staff Sgt. Stephen Murphy, a native of Troy, died in Iraq on Sunday, Nov. 8.
The Legion's Post 56 is holding the memorial on the Troy Common on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
A funeral for Murphy is planned Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Troy, followed by his burial in a local cemetery.
