NASHUA, N.H.—A 20-year-old New Hampshire man is going to prison for a minimum of five years after being convicted of defrauding senior citizens with a paving scam.

The New Hampshire Union Leader says some of the victims of 20-year-old Joseph Stanley of Nashua were in their 90s. One was 96.

Hillsborough County Superior Court Judge Jacalyn Colburn called Stanley a predator.

Stanley pleaded guilty in June to 11 felony counts of theft and theft by deception and a misdemeanor charge of violating the state's consumer protection law.

Joseph was sentenced to five- to 10-years in prison and he was ordered to repay 12 victims a total $30,441.
