DURHAM, N.H.—A new poll shows Republican Frank Guinta with a slight lead over incumbent Democrat Carol Shea-Porter in the 1st Congressional District.
The WMUR Granite State Poll of likely voters conducted by the University of New Hampshire shows Guinta ahead with 49 percent, while Shea-Porter had 39 percent.
In the 2nd Congressional District, Republican Charlie Bass is about even with Democrat Ann Kuster.
The telephone poll of 515 likely voters was conducted Sept. 23-29. The results were released on Thursday.![]()
