CONCORD, N.H.—More than 80 naval officers from 50 different countries are visiting New Hampshire's Health Department to learn about its programs and services.
The group from the U.S. Naval War College is being briefed Friday on health care, homelessness, Medicaid, public health, and other topics. They are spending time with the department's Bureau of Community Based Military Programs.
The officers are regarded as the best of the best in their countries and are chosen by their Chief of Navy to study for one year at the Naval Command College in Newport, R.I.
