MANCHESTER, N.H.—Police are searching for a man described as being polite as he robbed a Manchester convenience store.
A store clerk who was robbed said the robber said "please" and "thank you" while he took cash from the Cumberland Farms on Webster Street early Thursday morning.
Surveillance video shows a man wearing a mask approaching the counter and asking the clerk for money, which he then takes before walking out. No weapon was shown, and the man claimed to have one.
The suspect was described as white and in his 20s. He was 5-feet-5 inches to 5-feet-6 inches tall, weighed about 155 pounds and had light-colored hair and blue eyes.
Police tell WMUR-TV (http://bit.ly/n3rfe2 ) the man seemed to be familiar with the store's security measures.
