LONDONDERRY, N.H.—A new group has formed to help New Hampshire Marine veterans who have lost some aspect of their mobility.
The nonprofit group is called "Building Dreams for Marines." It provides no-cost home modifications such as ramps and remodeled kitchens, baths, hallways and other living spaces for Marines.
Organization president Brian Hooper says the goal is to give something back to Marines who have sacrificed themselves defending our country and our way of life. He says the group has a network of volunteers and building contractors ready to help with renovations.
The organization is accepting applications for home improvements in New Hampshire for Marines who were honorably discharged with a physically-limiting condition. Applications can be viewed online at http://www.buildingdreamsformarines.com.![]()
