Police shoot, kill man after chase to N.H.

Alberto Pagan, 21, was involved in a domestic assault in Lowell about 3:30 a.m. and fled by car to Pelham, according to the office of New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney. Police spent “considerable’’ time trying to talk Pagan into surrendering about two hours later, but fired after he advanced toward them holding a handgun, according to Delaney’s office.
