CONCORD, N.H.—Police say a New Hampshire woman stopped for driving while texting is also facing drug charges.
Laconia police stopped 25-year-old Tarra Bruno of Laconia Friday for driving while texting.
Police say they discovered that her license was suspended and she had an outstanding arrest warrant charging her with selling heroin.
Bruno also was charged with selling the drug Ecstasy at a Laconia grocery store.
Texting while driving has been outlawed in New Hampshire since Jan. 1, 2010. It is a violation that carries a $100 fine.
Bruno is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 22.![]()
